A nice fall poem.

"Autumn Leaves," by Minnie Hopkins

About the chilly, ragged lawns they lie In small decaying heaps. And pausing here,

I can but mark them sadly, crushed, forlorn,

Mute emblems of the slowly dying year.

Can they be those I saw so lately swing

Green-robed and merry on the maple trees,

And later, clad in flaming, golden gowns,

Joy-riding on the sweet October breeze?

Ride high and free, such little time ago

And now they lie so low! they lie so low I

And yet why pity them? Full well they lived

Their God-appointed plan, died joyously,

And left a golden memory! Pray who

Could ask a fairer fate for them, or me?

I don't know about you, but that definately puts me in a good mood. Speaking of good moods, I'm feelings particularly good about my Midterms for once! Actually, I don't know why the school didn't do this sooner. It's a great chance to get your grades up, and it's all still fresh in your mind. Finals were terrible last year! We had huge review packets and I didn't even remember half of it. I feel good about these today. :)
Tomorrow, alas (Dumbledore moment!), is our final marching band competition. Always a sad day for all of us band geeks, but an exciting and happy one too, because we look foreward to next year's show. Or, at least I do anyway. Yeah, I am that big of a geek. :D

This site made my day.

Stuff White People Like
:)

Long time no blog!

I think is quite possibly the longest I've gone without blogging. I'm experience with-drawl symptoms. Lol. Wow. Chatspeak... From a newspaper writer. Ehh, the Internet gets the best of us all doesn't it?

I'm learning how to properly write a business letter in Intro to Computers, while the kid next to me likes to hit shift until sticky keys comes on and that little BEEEEEP noise happens a million times over again. Now that I actually listen to that noise, it's more of a short, WHOOP. Either way, it's annoying. And I thought I was immature. Hehe. Well, alas, (DUMBLEDORE MOMENT) class is ending.

Don't forget to read the Blueprint and stuff! :

Ketchup

If you've been in the cafeteria lately, you will have noticed that the ketchup is now being rationed. I don't know about you, but I'm the kind of person that LOVES ketchup on absolutely everything. Grilled cheese, fries, chips, chicken, pizza, sausage, beef, steak, pork chops... EVERYTHING. I. love. ketchup. SOOOOOO much. So, recently, I went to get some doof (food spelt backwards) and I purchased fries and pizza. I then asked the cashier for some ketchup, and you know what I got?! I GOT THREE PACKETS OF KETCHUP. What good is three packets of ketchup use to me? I can't even properly dip five french fries into that, let alone eat an entire plateful of food.

When I asked for more ketchup, I was denied. That's right, DENIED. Oh, you better believe I was upset. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be blogging about this. I hope we can have more ketchup soon. );

Hmm...

I have too many ideas at once! Arrrrrghhhh. No, I am not a pirate, thank you. :) Cori and I would like to write another article sometime soon. Keep your eyes pealed for it! Maggie and I are also working on one together that may create mass chaos, but that's how we like things around here. Personally, I like my chaos orgainized. I don't know how Maggie feels on the subject, though.

One last thought before I resume my position as a procrastinating student: the Reavis Marching Rams are performing at the Oswego Band Festival today! Good luck today!

I just totally loled. Hahaha nerd.

And as always,
Go Rams.
